Community bunting for Balsall Heath Share Shack

If you have clothes or bedding that are not useful to you, but they aren’t suitable to donate to our Wear and Share project because it isn’t excellent quality and condition, why not join in our bunting project with Share Shacks?

We want members of the community to help make recycled bunting to decorate the Balsall Heath Share Shack, that looks as unique as the community it was made by.

Whether you would like to knit a triangle, decorate with embroidery, finish the edges differently, or just keep it simple, all we ask is that you get creative, and use existing fabric you have at home instead of buying new.

Bunting must be made to the correct size so we can use it, and we have step by step instructions to help guide you- you don’t have to be an expert seamstress or have perfect sewing skills to get involved!

Once complete, bunting can be brought to Share Shack, Balsall Heath City Farm, Malvern Street, Balsall Heath, Birmingham, B12 8NN on Tuesdays 10am-2pm. Our team will then attach the bunting triangles together to decorate the Share Shack.

Any questions please email: [email protected] – we look forward to seeing all your creations!
