To mark this day, additionally to events and workshops in and around our schools, Active Communities planned an air quality relay using it’s Air Quality Monitors with the aim of mapping air quality in as much of the city as possible. Over two weeks in June the Active Communities team surveyed nearly 1000 children at Primary Schools across Birmingham to see how they have traveled to school and how they would have liked to travel and the difference is pretty striking:(more…)
