Celebrate Nature

Wednesday 22nd April ws the 50th Earth Day which is designed to be a way of collectively mobilising for the earth with 24 hours of action.  There are many other local, national and international nature days and weeks (e.g. hedgehog awareness weekinternational dawn chorus dayWorld Environment Day).

But you don’t have to wait or any date to hold a celebratory event.  It can be your own household, street, or maybe bigger!  Please let us know if you’re interested in organising your own event.

Get Creative

You could start your own sunflower growing competition on your street – send a letter out to invite neighbours and give instructions, leave them a seed to grow and see what happens!

Make sure to post to Active Communities Going Wild and use #WildTogether #BrumTogether.
