Mince Pies and catch up in Handsworth

Join us for Mince Pies and a Crowd Catch Up in Handsworth.  The Active Communities team would like to invite you to a festive gathering to help shape the community activity plan that has been designed to address the top issues you voted on earlier this year.

Tuesday 18th December 2018,6.00pm-7.30pm,
Play Centre attached to Handsworth Wellbeing Centre,
Holly Road, Birmingham, B20 2BY

I am Dee Manning, the new newly appointed Local Community Action Officer for Handsworth, Lozells and Aston, helping to steer the Active Communities Project. I’m a local resident of the area and have been for thirty years, with a background in youth, community and arts, and I have been a college lecturer for the past 17 years.

This is your chance to say what you like, what you don’t like, and what is important to you and local people. I want to support you to get involved, be that in taking part, promoting or helping to lead sessions.

We will also hear from members of the community about projects they will be starting and want the crowd to get involved in.

If you can join us please let us know by sending an email to [email protected] so we can make sure we have enough mince pies.

I look forward to seeing you there!
