Calling all key workers – if you’ve got a bike that you’d like to use to cycle to work or to go out on a ride with your family but it needs a bit of T.L.C., Cycling UK are here to help!
As part of Cycling UK’s Big Bike Revival, six local cycling facilities across the city are offering FREE bike checks and bike servicing for key workers. As a key worker, all you need to do is contact one of the centres below and make arrangements to either drop your bike off at the centre, or have it picked up from your house (only available from some of the centres).
In return, you will be asked to provide your name, email address and consent, as well as proving your status as a key worker. This information will be held by Cycling UK.
We are also putting a call out to anyone who has a bike they no longer need and would like to donate to a key worker once it has been checked over, so they can use it for travel to work. Please contact Cannon Hill CC who will collect the donated bike from you.
