How do we combat climate change? Climathon addressed the challenges in a 24 hour global ‘hackathon’ in Birmingham and over 150 cities worldwide. Traditional approaches are not working, so what can we do, and how can we encourage more people to join us in tackling climate change?
Ride Active is a partnership between British Cycling and Big Birmingham Bikes, aimed at providing fun, social cycling practice activities for adults, in safe, secure environments such as parks and multi-use games areas.
These sessions allow you to practice and improve your skills, cycle in a group and meet other cyclists.

This year National Clean Air Day is on Thursday 21st June, and following last year’s success in raising awareness, and the BBC2 documentary ‘Fighting for Air’, Active Streets is supporting residents and Schools across Kings Heath to run a series of events to raise concern and take action. (more…)
