Catering

Sustainable catering that supports communities

Our chef makes all our food from scratch, using surplus produce direct from the market to make delicious, nutritionally balanced, plant-based dishes.

The surplus we receive is combined with a diverse range of lentils, pulses, beans, whole grains, herbs, and spices to create stews, curries, salads, dips, preserves, and snacks.  We also provide freshly baked cakes and desserts that incorporate surplus fruits that taste great!

You can contact us to order freshly made food for your events. This will help support the work that we do to provide this food for communities in need across the city and help reduce waste.

Below are some examples of the types of menus you can expect from us. The exact menus we can create for you will depend on the surplus we have at the time of your event as well as your dietary requirements. We can also provide more than one menu for your event if you want more selection. We will work with you beforehand to make a provisional menu plan that can develop with the surplus we receive.

Menus start from £12.95 per head plus VAT. Get in touch with us at catering@theaws.org for more information.

All profits go towards making more free community meals for the Birmingham Food Justice Network. You can learn more about this work here.
