Ola drivers help deliver #Brum Together food parcels

Ola Cabs are among the partner organisations who are helping us to deliver food parcels and hot meals to vulnerable residents.

The company aims to make 1,000 deliveries for the #BrumTogether campaign through its driver network.

Alok Pandya, regional manager for Ola, said: “Our drivers have volunteered their time and vehicles to help with this cause, and in these unprecedented times, it’s been great to feel like we’re doing something to give back to those in need at the moment. We’re also continuing to operate during the crisis, albeit at reduced capacity, providing a crucial mode of transportation for key workers across the region.”

Ola drivers have been a great asset to the food distribution network. The availability of drivers has helped to plan and smoothly coordinate the food deliveries across Birmingham. All drivers are DBS checked and insured, and they are very familiar with local roads and routes.
