Food distribution

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, #BrumTogether – a network of over 80 organisations and countless individuals have come together in response to Coronavirus and the lockdown. This network of community organisations and mutual aid groups have worked together alongside The Active Wellbeiing Society to provide support for local people including the delivery of food parcels, hygiene products, and essential supplies such as clothing and household items.

To support the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in our communities, The Active Wellbeing Society has also delivered a friendly phone chat service, virtual wellbeing activities, and sharing positive stories of people coming together to support each other.

Find information and contact info about local organisations, foodbanks and groups who may be able to assist with emergency food support and additional support here. This resource gives contact information about alternative support and services, but it is strongly recommended that you contact the foodbank/group first to check if they are currently offering food parcels, and if so, how to access these.
