Father and son make lockdown deliveries & support Brum Baby Bank

There are so many positive stories about how individuals and groups are coming together, not just in Birmingham, but across the region to help each other out during the lockdown.

One of these stories involves the efforts of dad, Mish, and his teenage son, Zakaria Rahman, who are doing their bit by making essential deliveries to residents in Walsall.

The pair help with numerous initiatives, including Walsall Outreach and Streetly-based Hotline Cars’ delivery service for vulnerable people in the area. They’re also distributing food parcels from Darlaston Town Hall Food back to local residents.

In addition, the Rahmans have also been supporting Birmingham Councillor Nicky Brennan’s Brum Baby Bank initiative, which is one of the 60 partner organisations involved with helping deliver our #BrumTogether campaign.

Mish and Zakaria’s efforts were recently featured on the Express & Star’s website. To read the full story, head over to https://bit.ly/2SqaNFM
