Have you been inspired to try cycling during lockdown? Want your children to learn to cycle in a safe environment with friendly qualified instructors?

Bikeability is a national cycling award scheme which incorporates the National Cycle Training Standard. We’re pleased to launch new Bikeability sessions for August and September, that are fun, safe, good for your health and the environment.

The 2-hour sessions are totally free and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limited number of participants. In addition, we can also provide free access to a bike and helmet if you don’t have one!

Sessions for children and families:

Learn To Ride sessions are for anyone who needs to learn to balance and pedal on a bike, whether that’s children coming off stabilisers or parents learning for the first time.

Bikeability Level 1 sessions are suitable for children and parents if they would also like to take part. Riders learn to master and control their bikes in a space away from traffic such as a playground.*Bikes and helmets can be provided on request. To book, please email: [email protected] with your name, contact number and details about which session you are interested in, or call: 0121 728 7030 if you do not have email access.
