Step-by-step guide

Please take care when crafting and always use adult supervision.

What You Will Need

1+ juice, milk or other recycled bottles with a handle

1 x piece of scrap paper

4 x squares of recycled fabric

2 x ties

scissors

Step 1

Clean your recycled bottles and make sure they are safe with no leaks

Step 2

Roll the scrap paper into a funnel and place firmly into the top of the bottle. Fill using your chosen material, water 1l = approx. 1kg then sand and pebbles are heavier (use scales to weigh if needed)
…This part can get messy!

Step 3

Secure the lids on the bottles and tie a piece of recycled fabric on top to seal and prevent leakage- you can use a hair bobble/elastic band etc. Use scissors to trim.

Step 4

Wrap the other 2 pieces of fabric around each handle for cushioning and grip

Step 5

Start lifting and enjoy!
