Ash Scott

Ash has over 15 years of experience in building partnerships, collaborations and solutions to create positive impacts on the lives of individuals and communities.

In particular, for many years he has been involved in encouraging people to become more active, looking to harness the power of digital innovation and data to help support those who would benefit most from moving more.

In 2012, Ash was contracted by ukactive to lead the UK’s official digital Olympic Legacy project, ‘spogo,’, which was funded by Sport England over 3 years, aimed at increasing grass roots sport participation.  This was followed by working with Sport England to lead on understanding how digital could be used more effectively in enabling people to be more physically active, outputs feeding into the DCMS and Sport England Strategy for an Active Nation, published in December 2015.

During time at Sport England, he also instigated an innovative research project with Birmingham City Council to help understand why certain demographic groups were not engaging with sport which led to the highly respected Active Data project for the Wellbeing Service.


As Business Director for, Ash led on collaborations and partnerships to increase levels of volunteering within the UK, creating opportunities with BT, Carphone Warehouse amongst others as well as leading the national employee volunteering group, Skills Exchange.


A keen boxing fan, Ash lives in the village of Haddenham with his family and beloved English Bulldog Ruby.
