Balsall Heath Share Shack is the second of a series of community spaces for residents to connect with each other by borrowing, repairing, re-using and being creative.
The Share Shack in Balsall Heath is a portable unit and for two years was housed on the St. Paul’s Community Development Trust site which is also home to Balsall Heath City Farm.
The portable Share Shack closed at St Paul’s at the end of December 2021. It has now relocated to Calthorpe Park and re-opened in July 2022. Keep an eye on this page to find out more about new activities planned.
Get involved
Share Shack is your space, run for the benefit of the community, by local people. We know there is a wealth of talent, skill and enthusiasm in our community and we’d like to invite you to share this with your friends and neighbours.
We are looking for volunteers to help with the project in lots of ways. This can mean meeting and greeting customers, running activities, sharing a skill or helping us out with admin and promotion. Get in touch if you’d like to join the team – [email protected]
If you have items you’d like to donate, please get in touch initially – we can’t accept some items for safety reasons and lack of space, so please don’t bring items without checking first.
