Jo Hatton

Jo is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at TAWS. She is an experienced Human Resources Director (FCIPD) who focuses of people engagement. Jo joined TAWS in 2020 to improve the HR function. She was promoted to Director of People and finally in 2022 to become of COO. Her focus is to improve the systems within the organisation that provide the tethering for the organisation as it strived to innovate and work beyond traditional boundaries.

Jo oversees the governance and assurance processes within the organisation, including finance, HR, health and safety, premises, knowledge and insight, and project management. Her role is pivotal to ensuring that the organisation functions smoothly and achieves its objectives and contractual obligations.

Prior to working for TAWS, she worked with a variety of commercial organisations such as Bristan Group, Severn Trent and Northern Foods. Her commercial and business experience have equipped her with an important and impressive range of skills that she brings to bear for the benefit of the organisation.
